Meerkat Sunset

Meerkats in the Namib and Kalahari deserts survive through tight family cooperation and clever adaptation.
They live in large underground burrows up to 2 m deep and form mobs of 20–50 individuals led by a dominant female.
Found across Namibia’s arid plains, they forage for insects, reptiles, and even venomous scorpions while sentinels stand guard against predators.
