Dolphins at Pelican Point, Walvis Bay

Pelican Point is a long sandbar guarding Walvis Bay, famous for its 1932 black‑and‑white lighthouse, built to guide ships through the Atlantic swells.
The peninsula is alive with wildlife: Cape fur seals, Heaviside’s dolphins, and bottlenose dolphins often surround kayakers in the calm lagoon.
It’s one of Namibia’s most iconic coastal wildlife spots.
