- The Camps Bay Tramway was an electric interurban tram line that operated in Cape Town from November 1901 to February 1930.
- It was run by the Camps Bay Tramways Company Ltd and linked Burnside Road in Cape Town with Sea Point and Camps Bay, offering scenic rides over Kloof Nek and down to the Atlantic coast.
- The route was considered one of the most beautiful tram rides in the world at the time, passing through mountain landscapes and ending near the beach at Camps Bay.
- The tram used a 4 ft 9 in (1,448 mm) gauge and was powered by electricity, replacing earlier horse-drawn trams in the city.
- After nearly three decades of service, the line was closed on 17 February 1930, as buses became the preferred mode of transport.
- Today, remnants of the tram era survive in old photographs and historical references, with the Rotunda building (now part of The Bay Hotel) marking the former terminus at Camps Bay
